Description:Babson’s Summer Study for High School Students provides a living/learning laboratory for students to focus on applying and advancing their knowledge in business and entrepreneurship. In this collaborative community, students will gain the tools and experience first-hand how to impact and reshape organizations, industries, and the world.

Babson Entrepreneurial Development Experience is a residential, academic credit bearing experience for the current or aspiring entrepreneur who wants to create innovative, real-world solutions to economic, social, and environmental issues through the lens of Entrepreneurial Thought and Action. Students will work together on new venture ideas to discover how to develop and grow new ventures through lessons of market research, feasibility analysis, and other business concepts while identifying the ways in which their businesses fit into the greater world picture.

Description:The GoGirls Entrepreneurship Program is a summer business program for young women in Boston. Do you like to create new things, think outside the box, find solutions to problems, do things their own way, be in control and succeed? If so, the GoGirls program will provide the tools and environment for you to do all these things.

During the first two weeks of the course, students will learn the basics of entrepreneurship through in-class instruction, and discuss the unique challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship with local female business leaders. During the next two weeks, students will create their own business plans and work collaboratively to find solutions to problems encountered in the making of the business plan. During the last two weeks, students will create apps to inspire and encourage entrepreneurship education and practice among others.

The program is free of cost. Each student will receive a stipend to cover food and transportation.

Description:The Coastal Ocean Science Academy (COSA) is a marine science summer day program that aims to introduce and connect young people to local coastal habitats and the factors that shape them. The program is based on Northeastern University’s Marine Science Center (MSC) campus on the rocky shore of Nahant, but also includes off-site field trips to locations around Boston and the North Shore! Description:Worcester Polytechnic Institute offers K-12 STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs to elementary, middle, and high school students. Depending on students’ interests and summer schedule, WPI offers various academic programs during the day as well as overnight residential programs for older students. All programs are designed to engage students in exciting STEM applications while developing leadership and collaboration skills. These preeminent programs highlight areas such as robotics, physics, video game design, music, engineering, humanities/arts, and women’s leadership. No matter a student’s age or experience level, WPI’s summer academic programs have something to offer. They are offered both during the school year and over the summer by WPI faculty and staff along with area educators.
