Job Description
The International College Admission Policy Intern will assist in researching and analyzing admission policies in universities across Southeast Asia, North America, the UK, and Australia. This role provides hands-on exposure to educational policy analysis in a global context.
Responsibilities
- • Conduct comparative research on admission policies of universities in Southeast Asia, North America, the UK, and Australia
- • Analyze requirements such as standardized testing, holistic review, quotas, financial aid policies, and diversity initiatives
- • Identify trends and disparities in international student admissions
- • Develop case studies on successful and challenging aspects of various admission systems
- • Assist in drafting policy reports and making recommendations for improving access to higher education
- • Collaborate with team members on global education research projects
- • Summarize findings into presentations and reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- • Current Junior or Senior in college
- • Majoring in Education, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field
- • Strong research and analytical skills
- • Interest in higher education admissions and international student policies
- • Ability to analyze policy documents, university admissions criteria, and government reports
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-driven environment
Preferred Skills
- • Familiarity with higher education systems in Southeast Asia, North America, the UK, and Australia
- • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research
- • Ability to interpret statistical data and policy trends
- • Strong organizational and time management skills
