It also has its own multi-award winning Centre for Entrepreneurship that supports students and recent graduates who want to start their own business, become self-employed or work on a freelance basis. Thanks to their Bathgate Start-up Fund they can offer students a range of opportunities, from small grants to test market demand, through to larger awards to support new ventures. LJMU degree courses are developed in partnership with industry partners and, with work experience being an intrinsic part of every course, the university’s graduates are much sought after by employers.
