Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill stresses the importance of developing leadership skills and business strategies through hands-on experience. It offers more than 15 hands-on simulations, business projects and capstone courses to gain real-life experience, including the Real Estate Investment Management program, the Senior Accountant Simulation and the Global Entrepreneurship Lab.
UNC Kenan-Flagler offers a full-time MBA program, an online MBA program and executive MBA programs in weekend and evening formats, as well as a Master of Accounting program, offered in on-campus and online formats, and a Ph.D. program. The full-time MBA program features flexible classes that place an emphasis on global perspectives. Students have the option to participate in more than 40 MBA student clubs and organizations, including the Consulting Club, the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club, the Corporate Finance Club and the Health Care Club. Students enroll in elective courses beginning in their first year to prepare for summer internships, and roughly 10 percent of the elective courses are new each year.
