Erciyes University was founded in 1978 in Kayseri, Turkey. It has 18 faculties, seven graduate schools, five colleges, 37 research centres and Gevher Nesibe Hospital – an advanced application hospital with 1,350 beds. Erciyes University is one of the largest and most important higher education institutions in Turkey and offers undergraduate and graduate programmes at the following faculties: Agriculture, Architecture, Arts, Communication, Dentistry, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Health Sciences, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, Theology, Veterinary Medicine, Tourism, Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences; and these graduate schools; Natural and Applied Sciences, Gevher Nesibe Institute of Medical History, Fine Arts, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Educational Sciences, Institute of Atatürk's Principles and Revolution History.
